A real person on my team answers and sets up a time with me. Most of my clients I've never met in person. We work by phone.
There are two kinds of individual health plans, and they're priced in different ways. With a marketplace plan, help with the price depends on your income. A private plan is priced on your health, and you need to be approved first. That approval is called underwriting.
I sell marketplace plans through HealthCare.gov, and I'm contracted with several marketplace carriers. I also sell private plans. I work with people under 65.
I'll tell you which one fits. Sometimes the answer is to stay where you are. You'll leave the call clearer than when you came in.
