This page explains what Jones True Insurance Solutions collects when you use this website, our booking page, or our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and what happens to it. "We" means Jones True Insurance Solutions, an independent insurance agency in Henderson, NV. Mary Jones is our licensed agent, NPN #20192176.

The short version

  • We don't sell or rent your information.
  • We use what you send us to answer you and to help you with health insurance.
  • Google Analytics runs on our articles and information pages. It doesn't run on our coverage tools or our booking pages.
  • There is no Meta (Facebook) pixel or other Meta tracking on this site.
  • Our coverage tools don't send your answers to Google or to Facebook.

When you visit this site

Our server's logs. Like most websites, our server keeps a log of each page request. A log line has your IP address, the page address, the time, the page that linked you here, and your browser type. On the page you see after booking a call, the log leaves out everything after the page address. We keep these logs for 90 days. Then they are deleted.

Our own visit counter. Our pages send a small note to our own server when you view a page and when you tap a call or booking button. The note has the page, the time, whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer, whether you're inside the Facebook or Instagram app, the kind of site that sent you (for example Facebook, Google or another site), and the ad tags on the link if you came from one of our ads. On our booking page it also notes if you stayed 10 seconds or scrolled down. The note does not have your IP address, your name, or anything you type. We keep these notes for 13 months.

Browser storage and one cookie. Our counter saves two small values in your browser:

  • the ad tags from the link you came in on, kept until you close the tab, and
  • a short label for where you came from (the name of our ad, or "site" or "direct"), kept until you clear your browser's data for this site.

Booking taps. When you tap a "See open times" button, our server notes the time and the short label for where you came from. It doesn't note your IP address. We keep these notes for 13 months, like the counter.

When you tap a booking button, our server also sets one cookie named jt_src. It holds that same short label and lasts one hour. It lets us count which ad or page led to a booking. None of these hold your name or contact details.

Google Analytics. Our articles and information pages use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Google Analytics uses Google cookies in your browser. It also notes taps on phone links and on links that leave our site. To keep pages fast, it starts only after you scroll or tap, or after 5 seconds. We send Google the page address with our ad tags, and we leave out the rest of the address. Google Analytics does not run on Find My Coverage, the Employer Obligation Finder, the calculator, our booking page, or the page you see after booking. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy.

When you send a form on this site

Our coverage tools (Find My Coverage, the Employer Obligation Finder and the calculator) let you send your answers to Mary. When you send one, we collect:

  • the contact details you enter, such as your email address, phone number, and for a business your name;
  • your answers, such as your state, household size, income range and current coverage, or for a business, your state and number of employees;
  • whether you agreed to get text messages, with the exact consent wording and the time;
  • which ad or page brought you there: the ad's tags, and the click code Facebook adds to its links;
  • your type of browser, and a coded version of your IP address that we use to stop spam and repeat sends.

What happens next:

  • Your request is saved on our server.
  • It is emailed to Mary's inbox. We send our site's emails through Brevo, with Google's Gmail as a backup.
  • It is added to our account at Ringy, the system we use to keep track of client requests and calls.
  • If you gave an email address, we email you your result.
  • A licensed agent may contact you about your request, as the form says.

Text messages

Our forms ask before we text you. On this site, if you give a phone number, you check a box that says: "I agree that Jones True Insurance Solutions may send me marketing text messages at this number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out." We keep a record of that wording and when you agreed. Our forms inside Facebook and Instagram ask "Can we text you about your appointment and health plans?" and you can answer yes or no. We keep your answer and when you sent it. We don't sell or share your phone number or your text consent with other companies for their own marketing.

When you book a call

Our "See open times" buttons take you to our booking page at Ringy (app.ringy.com). Ringy runs that page, and Ringy's privacy policy covers it. What you enter there, such as your name, phone number, email address and notes, goes into our Ringy account so Mary can call you at the time you picked.

Today, Ringy's booking page also loads tools from other companies, including HubSpot, FullStory, New Relic and Stripe. Some of these tools can record what you type or do on that page. We don't control them.

After you book, Ringy may send you back to our site. That page counts that a booking happened and which ad or page led to it. It doesn't record who you are or when your call is.

Facebook and Instagram

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta, the company that runs them, decides who sees our ads within the areas we choose. Meta's own policies cover what Meta collects on its apps. When you tap one of our ads, the link has tags that tell us which ad it was. We don't put the Meta pixel or any other Meta tracking on this site, and we don't send Meta information about your visit.

Some of our ads open a short form inside Facebook or Instagram. Facebook may fill in your name, email address and phone number from your account, and you can change them before you send. If you send the form, Meta keeps your answers and shares them with us. Within a few minutes our server picks them up through Zernio, a service we use to manage our ads and posts. Then they are handled like a form on this site: saved on our server, emailed to Mary, and added to our Ringy account, so someone on Mary's team can call you. Meta keeps its own copy for 90 days.

Our newsletter

We use Brevo to keep our newsletter mailing list and to send the newsletter. Brevo can tell us if an email was opened or a link was clicked. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Sending a form on this site does not add you to the newsletter.

Who else gets your information

We share it only with the companies that help us run our business, and only for that work:

  • Linode (Akamai) hosts our website server.
  • Google measures visits to our articles and information pages through Google Analytics, and its Gmail is the backup for our site's emails.
  • Ringy holds our client records and runs our booking page.
  • Meta runs our ads and the forms inside Facebook and Instagram.
  • Zernio is the tool we use to manage our ads and posts. It passes the answers sent through our Facebook and Instagram forms to our server.
  • Brevo sends our site's emails, and keeps our newsletter list and sends the newsletter.

If you decide to apply for coverage, we send what the application needs to the insurance company or the Health Insurance Marketplace.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Server logs: 90 days.
  • Visit counter notes: 13 months.
  • The jt_src cookie: 1 hour.
  • Requests sent through our forms, on this site or inside Facebook and Instagram, in our server, Mary's inbox and our Ringy records: 3 years after we last hear from you. If you applied for a Marketplace plan with Mary's help, 10 years, because federal Marketplace rules require agents to keep consent records that long.
  • Backups of our server, on the server and the copies kept off it: deleted after about six months.
  • Meta's own copy of answers sent through our Facebook and Instagram forms: 90 days, under Meta's rules.
  • Our newsletter list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address, marked so we never email you again.

Keeping it safe

This site uses HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted on the way to us. Requests sent through our forms are stored on our server in files that only the server's own accounts can open. No system is perfectly safe, so please don't send us medical records or Social Security numbers through this site.

Your choices

  • You can turn off Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
  • You can clear your browser's data for this site to remove our counter's stored label and the jt_src cookie.
  • You can reply STOP to any text from us.
  • You can use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
  • You can ask us to show you what we have about you, fix it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email maryj.health.advisor@gmail.com or call (702) 379-9084.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Nevada residents

We don't sell personal information as Nevada law defines it. You can still send us a request not to sell your information at maryj.health.advisor@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new date.
